Shoot a spammer
The last time the word "Spam" was amusing was in a Monty Python sketch from around 1970. If I had the money, I'd put more than a fair price on the heads of the rats who fill our mailboxes and even blogs with penis enlargement offers and get-thin advice.
I have no idea how many resources are devoted to finding the bastards behind this crap. My only prayer to prosecutors who nail one of these scum is that the latter be given the hardest punishment possible, and that lawmakers give judges and jurys the authority to throw the vermin behind bars for life.
The irony of it all is of course that the comments column will be filled with the topic of this rather predictable post.

I whole-heartedly agree with your sentiments, though I think responsible/pre-cautious use of the internet would prevent one from receiving too much unwanted mail. I entertain around five different email accounts from various providers, and only in my Hotmail-account have I ever received email I could not be held responsible for.
In closing, I must leave an old chinese proverb about spam..
"In a perfect world; spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship."

Maybe I'm an amateur, but I'd like not to be held responsible for all the nonsense that ends in my mailbox. There's a villain somewhere, and good riddance if he/she should disappear.

De to sjølvspråkhatarar kan berre pakke saman og ta i mot driten de fortener. Litt krasst, men det er jo lov på kommentarsida til ein kvass blogg.
Molde vinn forresten cupen, og Start serien, så då er iallfall eg, Yngvison og Kjetil godt nøgde.
Sånn elles liker eg ikkje spam så godt eigentleg. Eg liker (norton) antispam mykje betre. Eg får veldig mange sånne kvar dag. (var dette spam?)
Dritt er greitt, men samanpakking utgår. Sia korkje du eller eg har særleg injurierande kraft, er det ingen grunn til hemningar.
Spam er uønska søppelmail. Ønsket om indignerte innlegg er ein av dei få grunnane til å skrive blogg i utgangspunktet.
Samanpakkingsord er jo ei av dei største gledene i det norske språket. Elles så er det nok ei god analyse av injurie-eigenskapane våre. Vi er nok ikkje i "posisjon" som Ravi stadig snakkar/syng om.
Og eg vil slå eit slag for den utvida tydinga av ordet "spam". Spam blir brukt om mangt og mykje no til dags, t.d. om (uønska/stor mengde av) tekstmeldingar. Og eg meiner å ha høyrt at folk bruker ordet om for mykje dritpreik òg. Difor la oss la semantikken flyte og omdefinere grensene - i vår gjennomglobaliserte verd.
God analyse av motivasjonen for blogging òg. Du er flink til det. Kanskje du ser føre deg ei framtid som kommentator i ei (nisje)avis? "Øye på ein torsdag"? Det kan fort ta av.
Eg gløymte å syne _sterk_ indignasjon over militærspråket ditt! "Utgår" kan gå ut av språket utafor den sjuke vil-vere macho, dødskjipe, tankesløvande, ingenting-positivt-fremjande og likestillingsfiendtlege Forsvars-verda.
