In Lin we trust

Lin Stokke is the new spiritual leader of Studentenes Landsforbund. She's one of the souls who try to make our student world a better place to be.

The previously announced four-day meeting at Hamar is through, and was rather amusing. The dilemma of finding out what to do after graduation is solved: I'm spending the next year in the executive board of Studentenes Landsforbund (StL). This is a full-time scheme, starting July 1. I'll be responsible for StL's handling of international matters in Norwegian education.

I thought Volda was going to be the time of my life.
This might top it.

Election day

HAMAR TOMORROW: Four days of ten-hour meetings, irresponsible debates and no sleep. The tenth annual congress of Studentenes Landsforbund is less than 15 hours away.

I'm glad we're not in Belarus.

Words words words

"Pride and Prejudice" isn't a new tv series, but I didn't see it the first time around on Norwegian telly. The novel is one of my top tean reads. I sat down in front of the tv filled with expectations. This post was supposed to be a comment on the series, but my writing felt more awkward than in months. Instead, I'll make a list. This column has too few lists.

1. Don Quixote (Cervantes)
2. The Magic Mountain (Mann)
3. Prost Gotvins Geometri (Nygårdshaug)
4. The Name of the Rose (Eco)
5. For Whom the Bell Tolls (Hemingway)
6. The Idiot (Dostoyevsky)
7. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (Adams)
8. Fever Pitch (Hornby)
9. Pride and Prejudice (Austen)
10. The Picture of Dorian Gray (Wilde)
