Morons to mountains

I have climbed Volda's tour mountain #1 for what is probably the last time. Rotsethornet was an easy conquest this charming day in May. Petter (above right), Håvard (below) and I were there and back again in three hours.

The successful trip was duly celebrated during our last Saturday night in Volda. But the grand finale materialises on Wednesday. Amund, Håvard and Kristian have invited journalism's Class of 2006 to a post-exam feast of drinking, crying and who knows what.

Tomorrow we enter our last week as journalism students. It might be my last week as a student altogether. I won't miss Volda's rain, but I'll miss her people.

Hail Norway

Today we celebrate the Norwegian day of independence or something like that. The sun is shining, and people are looking forward to a solid party tonight.

The writer of this column is now struggling with an internship report that's one week overdue, and that has to be handed in tomorrow. Happy holiday.
