Jumping to conclusions

I've never been a fan of Oslo. The boys are cocky and the girls superficial, I used to believe. But after a while, it's become clear that Asker and Bærum are not part of Oslo.

The city is beautiful during summer, though. And Gressholmen, the best island in the Oslo Fjord, is only ten minutes from the city centre.

Culture is also a fair reason to like the city. Morgenbladet symbolises both ridiculous and sympathetic sides of snobbish Oslo's cultural coin: slightly over-academic in its prose and content, but amusingly enrichening to read.

No laughing matter

Helene may look like any other blonde (not that there's anything wrong with that), but she's one of the five brilliant members of Studentenes Landsforbund's new executive board.

Here are three of the others. From right: Tore, Mikael and Katrine Elida. The woman to the far left just happened to be in the picture.
